I have been a nurse 40 yrs . The va put me off for 4 yrs on my neck . Apparently the neurosurgeon at Loma Linda VA was afraid to do surgery . He felt nurses would cause his patients to die . Another surgeon told me that . I researched and found David Rogers He Took his time and prefers to help people over making money . I'm heading back in a few months for another neck surgery with him since I trust the man literally cutting my throat open , with my life .

Dr. Roger's gave MY LIFE back to me ! I'd had a Cervical Spinal surgery done previously. Not only was it botched...but I couldn't walk...drive....LIVE...without being in pain . My cousin ( who was a nurse @ Glendale Memorial) had heard ONLY GOOD Things about DR.ROGERS . I saw him....he explained why I was left in pain....and then performed the surgery I should have had. I was up walking/driving AND LIVING again within a VERY short time . He is smart, articulate, knowledgeable, innovative, and always on the " cutting edge " .Plus....he has a wonderful personality ! His staff went out of their way to make my family feel comfortable AND they ALWAYS took my calls And handled my insurance. L.Miller

Came in after I had a traumatic upper back injury. Every single staff member was amazing. I was unable to get everyone's name but Angela and Dr. Rogers were amazing. Extremely professional and showed empathy and actually took their time to sit and listen to my problems. This is the only doctors office I have ever been to that actually spent as much time as I needed to get every question answered. Not only were they professional but also showed the ultimate patient care. Being in the medical industry myself, I have never experienced so much care for the patient as I did with Angela and Dr. Rogers. I am extremely grateful for them and I would definitely recommend everyone who is experiencing any type of back pain to go to them because they are extremely knowledgeable and give you the best medical treatment possible.

Dr. Rogers performed surgery on my dad's cervical spine and we couldn't be happier with the results. He loves what he does and it shows in his work. He exceeded our expectations when he not only diagnosed the disease, but even took the extra step to point out another life threatening condition outside his scope of work..I highly recommend Dr. Rogers..His grace, genuineness, wisdom, and professionalism are a combination of who he is:)

Dr. Rogers came highly recommended to me by 2 other doctors that I have known for many years and who's opinions I highly respect.
I saw him on 3/9/20. He was extremely knowledgeable and communicated very well what my problem was to me in a warm, calm, caring, "not rushed", and friendly manner.
He also was very patient with me and took plenty of time so I could ask all my many questions.
I've seen other spine surgeons in the past but he is definitely one of the BEST out there. I would feel 100% confident having him do my back surgery that I have put off for too long now.
I also must add that his Asst., Angela, was very professional and communicated very well to me all that she needed from me as a new patient. She was also very sweet and caring! Great office!
Thank you so much Dr. Rogers and Angela!

My Positive experience with Dr. Rogers must be shared. For over two years, I lived with neck pain radiates to my right arm with progressively intermittent weakness, numbness, and tingling. I was taking pain meds like M&M. I have consulted with 5 other surgeons before my consultation with Dr. Rogers. There was a cleared consensus among all surgeons for operating. Some suggested the anterior approach, other suggested posterior approach. The decision between fusion and disk replacement was debatable and unclear. The more surgeons I consulted with, the more confused I was. When I consulted with Dr. Rogers, he reviewed my MRI and X-Ray results and took his time to explain my options as well as risks and benefits. He unscrambled all the confusions and uncertainties from my previous five consultations to a clear and precise picture. Dr. Rogers told me the facts I needed to hear, not what I wanted to hear. His right-handed assistance, Angela, made sure that communication was flawless. I am nearly 6 weeks post op after two cervical discs replacement. No right arm pain, weakness, numbness, tingling or pain meds. Dr. Rogers is an extraordinary, caring and compassionate surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Rogers.

Dr Roger's is the very best!! I have had two surgeries by him. The first one redid what the previous Dr had done... The second surgery he saved me from paralysis.. He is the most talented, knowledgable surgeon I have ever been to. And I have been to a few...I've had 8 spinal surgeries in all so I am pretty good judge of Surgeons...Been from the Westside to the Eastside.... Dr Roger is also a patient, kind, compassionate, caring, and spritual Doctor that you will ever meet....He takes his time with and you explains every detail to you...Now some say they have to wait to long...but he takes as much time with you....I'd rather wait a bit longer and get full attention and not be rushed through....Can't say enough about Dr Rogers!!!

Dr. Rogers did my microdiscectomy in October. He went above and beyond with scheduling, answering any questions, and even calling me the night before surgery to make sure I was okay. I was very severally limited in my mobility. I'm now walking with no issues and starting to bend and lift more each day. I had some crazy irrational fears about anesthesia and my anesthesiologist was great. Took a deep breath and then woke up in the recovery room. My nurses were fantastic. I wish I could remember their names. Angela is also fantastic, the doctors assistant. She is extremely patient and caring. I can't thank Dave Rogers enough. He gave me my life back. I seriously spent 8 months trying to heal my herniated disc and finally surgery was really the best solution.

Dr. Rogers is a fantastic, dedicated, world-class surgeon. As some have mentioned, there are occasional bumps in his medical 'practice', and I found the staff has its ups and downs, but he is top-notch as a surgeon, and when you need help this badly -- what else matters?
He was chosen by my doctor for her own surgery, and every doctor I was sent to for the pre-surgical OK was highly admiring when they heard who was doing the surgery. I was told that before he operates, he exercises (for alertness), and pores over the MRIs to visualize exactly what he will be doing, and how he wants it to go -- so he's alert, and intensely focused on the task before him.
He patiently explained the surgery and options, and handled my very complicated surgery successfully.
I had fallen, and was overlooked by a major medical center when I went for testing, so my back--which was broken--healed itself for years, but incorrectly. Dr. Rogers had to excavate the 'healed' bone, which was impinging on my spinal cord, and fuse the lower vertebrae with titanium rods.
* I was in agony, and now I'm pain-free. I was in danger of losing my mobility from the waist down, and now my problem has been eliminated.
* Other problems have been correcting themselves, now that the big problem at the base of my spine is in its correct position and alignment.
*Other surgeries that might have been needed are now not necessary.
Very few doctors even within this specialty could have handled something this intense -- two surgeries, two days apart, for hours on end. And thanks to him, I'm restored to full mobility, pain-free.
I, too, found the staff a little dismissive after the surgery, but I don't care -- the surgery was what was important, and that was world-class.

Dr Rogers has been such a life saver. He is so dedicated to his patients. When you live with pain it oftentimes is a disability that is unseen. There isn't a bruise which shows a herniated disk or a cut which points you to the problem location. Dr Rogers is so diligent in seeking out not only the underlying reasons of an injury, but the solutions that work. He is a gifted surgeon and truly cares about your quality of life. I've traveled two hours each way to get to Dr Rogers' office because I trust him implicitly. I'd rather sit in traffic to have him treat me than find someone else. That is how marvelous he is. Dr Rogers is truly the best. If you need help, if you've gone to other surgeons and they couldn't help you- make an appointment with Dr Rogers. Believe me. He changed my life.

Simply the best!
Doctor Rogers and his staff are wonderful. This is a long overdue review.
I had lower pain over the years that had progressively gotten worse. I had 2 minor type surgeries, a laminectomy and a microdiscotomy. Those didn't alleviate the pain of the sciatic nerve and lumbar pain. I opted for a lumbar fusion with a doctor recommended by my primary care physician. Everything turned out worse. Went for a full year of pain management which again did nothing but minor relief and weekly visits.
I finally decided to see another spine surgeon. The question was "Who?" I wanted a doctor near me as my other doctors had been on the west side. I checked around and I found the best spine surgeon on the planet, Dr Rogers.
After sending me for current MRI , I was scheduled for surgery to straighten the rods and tighten screws. It had been painful to walk up u til Dr Rogers worked his magic.
It is now 3 years post op and I'm still doing fine.
There is no better spine surgeon in my opinion. He is compassionate and caring as is his assistant Angela and his brother Richard who works in the office also. Love you guys!

Dr Roger's is the best surgeon you will ever find!! I have had a total of 8 spinal surgeries so I know a great surgeon when I meet one...He has done 2 surgeries for me...The first surgery he did was a redo on my cervical spine... The surgery was done by a previous Surgeon...The second surgery was done September 12, 2018 on my Cervical Spine....He saved me from becoming paralyzed...
Dr Roger's is not only the best surgeon he is compassionate, kind, loving, & cares about you as an individual..
Some have said on this site that they have to wait too long once they arrive for their appointments....
However Dr Roger's spend as much time with you as he did with the patient before you..
He does not rush you thru your appointment...it is not like a drive thru....
Good things come to those who wait....and you can't get better then Dr Rogers... and his staff is wonderful....always cheerful and beyond helpful...
So if you have to wait a bit bring a book, iPad, cell phone, water and a good attitude cause you are about to see the best Doctor you could ever meet....
Take this from one who has been down the road to hell and now I am back!! Thank you Dr Rogers!!!

I can't say enough about how talented a surgeon he is. My husband has had 2 surgeries with Dr. Rogers and he saved him from paralysis on the first surgery. On the second surgery he was having problems balancing and walking..it had gotten so bad that I felt the next step was a wheel chair. After the second surgery he could tell immediately that he could balance again and walking was so much easier. He also did surgery on our daughter who was injured lifting patients because she is an RN. She was out of work for 6 months and in constant pain before visiting Dr. Rogers office. He did surgery on her and released her the same day to go home with a pain pump..in a week she was back to normal with no pain. Dr. Rogers is awesome ..his talent as a surgeon is beyond compare.

Prior to meeting Dr. Rogers, my mom had already been through 2 back fusions and 3 other back procedures by different doctors. My mom wasn't able to walk, sit or stand for more then 5 minutes at a time and was on the verge of becoming paralyzed. No other doctor wanted to treat my mom because he condition was so bad. My mom had also withdrawn from family activities because she was in so much pain. Dr. Rogers schedule my mom for urgent surgery, prior to surgery Dr. Rogers sat with our family to discuss the surgery in detail and answer any questions we had. Dr. Rogers made sure we were all comfortable and assured us he was going to do all he can to help my mom. Dr. Rogers remove the scar tissue that was pressing against her spine. When my mom woke up from her surgical procedure, she felt relief right away. Within a month or two Dr. Rogers made sure my mom was in physical therapy and getting all the follow up care she needed. My mom is now able to walk with a cane, sit and have conversations with us and go out for walks. Dr. Rogers gave us back our mom, I cannot thank Dr. Rogers and his amazing team for all they have done for my family.

Thanks to Doctor Rogers I have my life back. Three weeks ago (before he preformed my microdisectomy) there would be times when I couldn't even crawl, the pain was excruciating; now I forget sometimes that I was ever injured.
He really listens to and cares about his patients. I had a lot of questions and concerns and he took the time to help me understand, and was forthcoming about potential risks and expectations.
The surgery was a complete success and I honestly don't see how you could find a more skilled, qualified, and attentive surgeon.
Angela is awesome and helped deal with a pharmacy that was being difficult. Richard is a champion of communication and made the arrangements very easy. And I'm sure Dr. Rogers is the top of his trade. Not to mention all of them are very kind, genuine people. Can't recommend enough!

I literally cannot express in words the gratitude that I have for Dr Rogers. I got my life back after he performed his Magic with my lumbar spine. His attentiveness and great attention to details, his kindness and bedside manners were second to none . Talk about hands on, post surgery he literally changed my dressing himself daily to insure there was no chance of infection. After 3 days I was in rehab and within 10 days I walked out feeling 100% better. The service and level of expertise is beyond first Class!

I was referred to Dr. Rogers by my coworkers wife who has known him for many years. She spoke so highly of him not only as a fantastic surgeon, but a wonderful person as well. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Rogers and the quality of care he has given me. I had a debilitating lumbar spine/sciatic nerve issue in 2013 which he corrected.
More recently I had a cervical spine issue that he was also able to correct. In both instances my quality of life improved immensely!
He takes the time throughly explain MRI and X-rays results and discuss non surgical options you may have. He will answer all your questions and if surgery is needed no one is better than Dr. Rogers, in my opinion.
His staff is also great, Angela and Richard are both well informed and really nice!
